Dr. David Dyment is working on a new book – coming soon!
He’s the author of Doing the Continental: A New Canadian-American Relationship; in its second printing, selected by the Toronto Library Foundation as a significant Canadian book, and a NON-FICTION BEST SELLER.
At Carleton University he’s been an Assistant Professor and later a Senior Research Associate and has taught Canadian foreign policy at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs.
With the Canadian government at Global Affairs, David was an Acting Director, a Deputy Director; and on the immediate staff of the Governor General.
He’s a former Director of the Parliamentary Internship Programme. He’s a member of the Advisory Board of the Canadian International Council, a Past President of its Ottawa Branch, and Chair of the CIC’s “Canada-China Opportunities in Transition” Conference.
Opinion pieces by David have been in the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, the National Post; he has been on CBC TV, CTV, Fox TV, CBC Radio, BBC Radio, Radio New Zealand, and on Radio-Canada in French.
As an Ontario-Quebec Exchange Fellow he received his doctorate in Political Science from the Université de Montréal.
